The lights
How do I turn them on?
Touch the lens. There is a sensor under the surface, so there is no switch to find in the dark, no app and no remote.
What colours do they come in?
Seven, and every light does all seven. Tap the lens to cycle through them, plus a slow breathing gradient. There is no colourway to choose at checkout, so every light in every kit does the same thing.
How bright are they?
They are ambient lighting, not work lights. Bright enough to light a footwell and be clearly visible at night, soft enough that they are not distracting.
Are they waterproof?
The housing is a sealed one-piece design and the supplier rates it as dust, water and scratch resistant. It is built to survive a spilled drink in a footwell. Do not submerge it.
How long does a charge last?
The supplier rates this batch at around two hours of continuous use. Ours have run longer than that, but we have not sat and timed one, so we are not going to print a figure as though we had. They are built for drives rather than for sitting lit overnight, and recharging is over USB through the port on the outside.
Fitting and charging
Do I need to wire anything in?
No. They are USB rechargeable and completely self contained. Nothing is cut, drilled or spliced, and no part of the kit touches your car's electrics.
How do they attach?
Adhesive backing. Clean and dry the surface first, press for thirty seconds, then leave it an hour before use. They come off again without marking the trim.
Where should I put them?
Out of the sightline is the whole idea. Behind the seat rail, under the dash lip, or up inside the door card. What you want visible is the glow on the floor and the trim, not the light itself.
How do I charge them?
The charge port is on the outside of the housing, so it plugs straight into USB. You never have to open the light to charge it. That matters, because opening the housing is how the cheaper versions break.
Will they drain my car battery?
No. They do not connect to your car at all.
Will they fit my car?
They are not model specific. They mount anywhere, in any vehicle, including utes and 4WDs.
Can I move them to another car?
Yes. Nothing is permanent, so they move with you. This is also why they are fine in a lease, a novated lease or a rental.
Road rules
Is it legal to drive with them on?
Interior lighting rules vary from place to place, and red and blue are reserved for emergency vehicles. Check the road rules where you live, and do not run colours that are visible to other drivers while you are moving. It is your responsibility to make sure your use complies. We would rather tell you that up front than have you find out from a fine.
Ordering, delivery and returns
Which kit should I get?
Full Cabin, the four light kit, is the one we recommend. That covers one per front footwell and one in each rear door, which is the layout in the photos. Front Row is two lights and covers the front only. Whole Interior is six and covers the footwells, the doors, and the boot or under a seat.
How much is shipping?
Free on every order. Shipping destinations are shown at checkout.
How long does delivery take?
Usually seven to fourteen days. Orders are processed within one to two business days, then it is six to twelve days in transit, and you get tracking by email once it ships. Peak periods and remote addresses can run longer.
How can I pay?
Card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
What if I do not like it?
Send it back within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, in re-sellable condition with all parts included. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty, damaged or not as described, in which case we cover it.
What if something arrives faulty?
Email us with your order number and a photo. We replace it or refund it, your choice, and we cover the postage.
What are my rights as a consumer?
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality. Nothing in our policies limits that.
